Natural Treatment For Abscess Tooth

Natural Treatment For Abscess Tooth

October 15, 2022 By Peter Leave a Comment

A natural treatment for abscess tooth may include the use of aloe vera and clove oil. These can relieve pain and help kill any parasites that are causing your abscess. Baking soda can also be helpful for reducing inflammation. However, these treatments are not meant to replace a visit to the dentist.

Tannins are a natural treatment for abscess tooth

There are several benefits to using tannins as a natural treatment for an abscess tooth. These compounds have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, and they can help prevent swelling and infection. Additionally, they can strengthen the tooth's enamel. Moreover, they can be beneficial for people with gum disease, which is one of the most common causes of dental trauma.

Another useful natural remedy for an abscessed tooth is to gargle with warm water and salt for around 20 minutes. It is also beneficial to gargle with apple cider vinegar, which contains anti-inflammatory properties.

Clove oil kills parasites

The natural antibacterial properties of clove oil help fight off parasites that can cause an abscess tooth. The oil is not to be used undiluted on the skin, because it can cause irritation. For best results, mix the oil in a carrier oil and apply it to the affected area. As with any essential oil, you should use it under the supervision of a health professional. Ideally, it should not be used for more than two weeks in a row. In addition, you should also take a probiotic supplement twice a day.

In addition to its antibacterial properties, clove oil is also a natural antifungal. A study from 2005 found that it kills Candida albicans, a type of fungus that can cause vaginal yeast infections, oral thrush, and athlete's foot. It was also found to be effective against staph bacteria.

Aloe vera relieves pain

Aloe vera is an antibacterial agent that helps to relieve the pain associated with an abscess tooth. A natural remedy for toothache, aloe vera gel can be applied to the painful area using a cotton swab or a clean finger. In some cases, you may also be able to find an aloe-based mouthwash that you can use.

Aloe vera is a popular anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent that has antispasmodic properties. It is made from the leaves of the aloe succulent plant. You can also apply aloe vera gel to a cut or burn.

Baking soda reduces inflammation

The anti-inflammatory properties of baking soda are what make it an excellent remedy for abscess teeth. It also helps to remove plaque buildup in the mouth. Simply mix some baking soda with water and swish it around your mouth for five minutes at a time. Repeat the process two or three times a day.

Another remedy for abscess teeth is to use saltwater. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is easy to use. All you need to do is add a half-teaspoon of salt to warm water and rinse your mouth three times a day.

Peppermint tea relieves pain

If you suffer from a toothache, try using peppermint tea. Its antibacterial properties can help alleviate swelling in the gums and relieve pain. While this remedy is not suitable for abscess teeth, it can help ease pain in the affected area.

A tea bag made from peppermint leaves can be placed on the abscess to relieve pain. While peppermint tea does have antibacterial and soothing properties, it is not a reliable cure for abscess tooth. For permanent relief, you should visit a dentist. An X-ray can help a dentist detect the abscess, which appears as a fluid-filled sac around the tooth root.
