Alternative Treatment For Juvenile Diabetes

Alternative Treatment For Juvenile Diabetes

November 16, 2022 By Peter Leave a Comment

If you or a child you know suffers from juvenile diabetes, you may be wondering about the many options for treatment. These treatments can range from Acupuncture to Biofeedback, Chromotherapy, and Chiropractic. Each treatment has a different approach, but each has proven to be effective in a number of cases.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a noninvasive treatment for diabetes with minimal side effects. Patients may experience minor bleeding or aches after acupuncture. They may also feel relaxed after the procedure. It has been shown to reduce stress hormones and blood pressure. This is important because stress can increase blood sugar levels, which can negatively impact the patient's overall health. High blood pressure is also a risk factor for those with diabetes. In addition, a patient's stress levels can affect the way their diabetes is managed.

A recent study published in the Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine examined the effects of acupuncture on diabetic patients. Researchers recruited 60 patients with diabetes and split them into two groups, one receiving acupuncture daily, and one receiving a regulated diet. Acupuncture treatments were administered once a day, for thirty days.

Chiropractic

In children, chiropractic treatment may help reduce blood sugar levels in the bloodstream. This treatment is very effective and may help children with diabetes to gain more energy and improve their overall health. Chiropractic adjustments can help improve communication between the nervous system and the pancreas. There have been numerous studies conducted on the effectiveness of chiropractic care in the treatment of diabetes.

In one study, a four-year-old with diabetes was treated by a chiropractor 24 times in a two-month period. The child's hemoglobin A1C (the level of glucose in the blood) decreased from 7.2% to 6.5% and the amount of insulin used daily dropped from fifteen to eleven units. Nevertheless, other case studies have not reported the same level of improvement. The chiropractors claim that the treatment optimizes neutral connections throughout the body, which increases cellular communication.

Biofeedback

Biofeedback is an effective alternative treatment for juvenile diabetes that helps control the symptoms of the disease. It can also reduce the need for medications. It is not recommended for all patients, and some practitioners may be fraudulent. If you're not sure whether biofeedback is right for you, consult your doctor.

Biofeedback has been studied in a variety of medical conditions, including cardiovascular disease. It has shown some promise in the treatment of hypertension, but most of the research to date has been inconclusive. However, preliminary studies suggest that biofeedback can improve symptoms of cardiovascular diseases, including heart failure. Moreover, early studies have shown that biofeedback may influence the remodeling of a failing heart.

Chromotherapy

Chromotherapy, as described by Dr. Rosenberg, has many benefits for people suffering from juvenile diabetes. Its scientific principles have been proven, and it is a promising treatment option. However, research on the effectiveness of this treatment is still in its early stages. There is a need for more studies to prove whether it is effective or not.

Chromotherapy works by exposing the patient to different colours. These colors affect the body's metabolism and trigger healing processes. The light is used to stimulate the cells' enzymatic processes.
